Nightfall on Immortal Mountain: Letters of a Master and Disciple

At a pivotal point on the path to immortality, the realm of transcending the immortal was within reach. Situ Jingye knew that Shen Yeyu’s cultivation journey was full of hardships, and that he might be standing in her way. To help her embark on the path to immortality she had always dreamed of, he forced himself to make a difficult decision: to cut ties with her. For the next three hundred years, time passed slowly as Situ Jingye endured loneliness and hardship in silence, hoping only that she would ascend to immortality. But fate turned mercilessly, and in the moment his soul scattered, his eyes were filled with concern and reluctance to part from Shen Yeyu. Only then did Shen Yeyu finally awaken as if from a dream and understand the good intentions behind Situ Jingye’s decision all those years ago. Overcome with grief, she swore a solemn oath and embarked on the divine path to resurrect her husband. The road was thick with brambles and fraught with danger, but her resolve never wavered. She knew that however faint the hope, as long as love remained in her heart, she would find a way to bring her beloved back to life.
