I Have a Heavenly Court That Can Slaughter Evil Spirits

Bloodstained talismans hang above the white jade steps. Rusted bronze chains coil around dragon-carved pillars, and from the depths of the thirty-third celestial palace comes the sound of chains dragging across the floor.

When the first wisp of incense is lit before the ruined Southern Heavenly Gate, a seal for commanding thunder and fire appears on Chen Xia's right hand.

That day, he sees strange black mist swirling around his homeroom teacher. At a crossroads, he witnesses a paper bride in her wedding sedan, but what reaches out from beneath the curtain is a set of ghastly white bones...

"So the mortal world has already been devoured by the strange, left riddled with holes."

Chen Xia grips the broken sword he took from the Hall of Vast Heaven. Wherever its edge points, demons and monsters vanish into ash amid the thunder.

And when he finally reaches the ninth heaven and opens the bronze coffin in the Hall of Numinous Heaven, the corpse sleeping inside has a face exactly like his own.
