I Wield a Rusty Sword to Cleave the Heavens

[Classic xianxia + swordsmanship rivalry + a passionate ensemble cast + an underdog’s rise]

With a rusty sword and half a tattered book, how can one cut down all the injustice in the world?

Chen Xuan, a lame boy forgotten by the Sword Qi Great Wall, finds a bloodstained fragment of bronze in Lizhu Cave Heaven. It awakens an ancient sword grave that has lain dormant within him for a thousand years. As it turns out, he is the last Dragon-Slayer’s sole surviving descendant, with the “Heavenly Ruins Sword Prison,” feared by the Three Teachings and countless schools, hidden in his spine.

When the Nine Nether Hall of the Azure Underworld sets its sights on Lizhu Cave Heaven, and the herb-picking girl who grew up with him is turned into a cultivation furnace, Chen Xuan breaks his chains with his rusty sword. Behind him appear the phantoms of twelve ancient broken swords. The heavens and earth rumble, and the seventy-two beacon towers of the Sword Qi Great Wall blaze to life once more. The most mysterious “Sword Bearer” in the Vastness World arrives beneath the moon. “Boy, do you know that you’re cultivating the tenth realm, the one erased by the Heavenly Dao?”

From Lizhu Cave Heaven to Inverted Mountain, from the Sword Qi Great Wall to the Lotus Buddha Kingdom, the young sword cultivator bears the karma of the Three Teachings and travels with a red-clad female ghost, a chubby boy who is the reincarnation of Taotie, and a white fox who loves stealing the Dao Ancestor’s pill furnace. Together, they unleash a storm across the five worlds. When the bronze fragments reveal the truth about the “Seventh Ancestor of Humanity,” Chen Xuan raises his sword and challenges the heavens. “They say sword cultivators are all about reason. My reasoning is at the tip of my sword!”
