Reborn to Reunite with My Childhood Sweetheart

My name is Wang Haotian. In my previous life, I turned away from my childhood sweetheart in pursuit of true love. But married life was far from happy. My wife didn’t love me; she only liked the feeling of keeping me wrapped around her little finger, just for the novelty of it. One day, after I discovered her true colors, I angrily divorced her. I fell into a deep depression afterward, and it was my childhood sweetheart who cared for me and helped me through it. But one day, after we argued, she died in a car accident while driving. I sank even deeper into despair, drinking every day until I eventually died of alcohol poisoning.

Now I’m reborn. This time, I want to make up for the mistakes I made before. But why does something seem a little different?
