The LG Cup Chronicles: I Rewrite the Rules on the Board

At the LG Cup, the highest stage in Go, the Dragon Kingdom’s Emperor Ke, the legendary player who already holds eight titles, is making a bid for his ninth.

But his opponent, Bian Simu of the Kimchi Kingdom, will stop at nothing to win. Time and again, he exploits loopholes in the rules and resorts to underhanded tactics.

As the match reaches its climax, Bian Simu repeats his old tricks in the deciding game. The Kimchi Kingdom’s referee turns a blind eye, while its Go association manipulates things behind the scenes and draws up rules targeting Ke, hoping to block his path to the title once and for all.

At this critical moment, Emperor Ke does something astonishing: he successfully merges with AlphaGo, and his skill surges in an instant.

Every move is precise and ruthless, displaying AlphaGo’s extraordinary intelligence.

Inside the arena, the referee is so shocked that the recording pen slips from his hand and falls to the floor. His mouth hangs open as he murmurs,

“These moves, these calculations... I’ve never seen anything like them!”

The officials from the Kimchi Kingdom’s Go association panic too, their faces turning ashen as they whisper to one another.

“How on earth did he do that? We’re in serious trouble!”

Outside the arena, netizens from the Dragon Kingdom are already seething with indignation, leaving messages online.

“We’ve got to crush Bian Simu! Whatever targeted rules the Kimchi Kingdom’s Go association comes up with, they’re useless against Emperor Ke!”

“Emperor Ke, take them down and show the whole world what real skill looks like!”

(Any resemblance is purely coincidental.)

(This is a parallel world. Please don’t read too much into it.)

Go + face-slapping + merging with AlphaGo + powerhouse + invincible
