[The Husband-Chasing Crematorium]+ [Obsessive Female Lead]+ [Deranged Need for Control]

Song Yizhou sets off alone for the capital to take the imperial examinations, but unexpectedly finds himself forced into an encounter with Chu Ruobing, a commandery princess of the reigning dynasty.

Later, Song Yizhou flees to the capital and, thanks to a keepsake his mother left him, becomes a distant maternal cousin of the Prince of Qi's household.

To his surprise, Chu Ruobing turns out to be his cousin, though they share no blood relation.

Chu Ruobing forces her love on him and torments him like a madwoman, leaving Song Yizhou to plot one escape after another.

The people who love him and the people he loves die because of him. In the end, he sees through worldly affairs and chooses to become a monk.

Years later, Chu Ruobing kneels before Song Yizhou's grave, and her hair turns white overnight.
