[One-on-one romance] [She makes the first move] [He lowers his pride for love]
Sang Ran and Xu Zhizhou have been together for three years. Just as they are about to get engaged, Xu Zhizhou not only cheats with his first love, but also schemes to seize the shares Sang Ran owns.
He Jilin is a born winner, a ruthless force in the business world who leaves no room for mercy.
She climbs into his bed and grabs him by the collar.
“Mr. He, we should take our partnership to the next level.”
“What level?”
“I want to be Mrs. He.”
“Heh. I’m not interested in you.”
When they meet again, he sees her entangled with another man and steps in to defend her. He helps her resolve her family’s crisis and deal with the scumbag.
He says, “Be my wife.”
At the wedding, she looks at him and says earnestly, “I refuse.”
She yanks off her bridal flowers and tramples He Jilin’s pride underfoot.
Everyone holds their breath for Sang Ran, but He Jilin runs after her and begs in a low voice, “Wifey, I was wrong. Give me one more chance.”
The female protagonist is a little devil with a fishing style who doesn't suffer any losses and is a bit obsessed with money, while the male protagonist is a sultry and tsundere who is dissatisfied with his integrity. So far, it's okay.
