I've always wanted to find a survival-game novel with no supernatural powers, no special items, and simple rules. Since that was so hard to find, I decided to write one myself. What I want to show everyone is a more realistic view of human nature. Stories in this genre usually have only one survivor. This time, I made a slight change to the rules: when thirty days have passed, everyone still alive can split a hundred million in prize money. This becomes the source of the protagonists' inner conflict. Can one tense standoff after another be more compelling than a straightforward fight to the death...?
