A New Love for the Future

A new novel is here. Unique events, uniquely told. The great way of Heaven and Earth encompasses both you and me. Everything that happens is natural. Good and bad, righteousness and virtue, all come around in cycles. Heaven sees all, right here between you and me.

My novel, Future New Love, is based entirely on my own life experiences, with almost nothing made up. In fact, the events in the novel may not be as exciting as what happened in real life. I hope you’ll give this work a look. I’d wanted to write a novel about my own coming-of-age for a long time. At first, I worried I might not be able to write it, or that I wouldn’t be able to express my feelings accurately. But once I actually started, I realized it wasn’t that hard. After I finished the novel, quite a few friends teased me by calling me “the male Qiong Yao.” Whether I’m “the male Qiong Yao” doesn’t matter. What matters is that I’ve honestly shown who I am through this work, and that feels wonderfully freeing and satisfying. For me, that’s enough.

The novel also includes several real baking recipes. They’re not just lists of numbers and instructions, but practical recipes tested in the kitchen. If you love baking, I hope they’ll be useful to you.
