Siheyuan: The Security Captain Is My Ex

Lin Hongtao joins the Public Security Team, only to discover that its captain is none other than his ex.

Lin Hongtao wants to ask the organization to help him transfer to another workplace.

Bi Jingxian: The organization’s work assignments are made after careful consideration. Comrade Lin Hongtao, since you refuse to follow the organization’s arrangements, write a self-criticism and bring it to my office.

That’s it, his ex is already making things difficult for him right off the bat.

Luckily, just then, a ding rings out in Lin Hongtao’s mind.

[Ding! Congratulations, Host, you have awakened the System for Punishing Villains. You can earn rewards by arresting the criminals from the original story.]

Lin Hongtao goes on to arrest He Yuzhu, the Deaf Granny, Yi Zhonghai, Liu Haizhong, and others...

He earns rewards in printmaking, composition, and mechanical skills.

Lin Hongtao wins awards for his compositions, earns recognition for his printmaking, and takes home prizes for his inventions. He racks up so many rewards he can barely keep track of them.

His ex, the Public Security Team captain, is green with envy.

How can Lin Hongtao be so amazing?
