Honghuang: After I Transmigrated into the Heavenly Emperor, I Gave Up Trying

“What the heck? I transmigrated into that pathetic Haotian from the Primordial World!”

Looking at the Three Pure Ones, Nuwa, and the Two Sages of the West, who had come to the Zixiao Palace to discuss candidates for the next Heavenly Emperor, Haotian raised an eyebrow. After a moment’s thought, he made a decision that went against his ancestors.

And so…

“What? You want my sister to descend to the mortal world and fall in love with a human… Fine. Wait here while I find a rock and turn it into a spirit, all right?”

The Two Sages of the West: “???”

“What do you mean, turn a rock into a spirit? We want your sister, Yaoji!”

Haotian: “Exactly. I’ll find a rock and have it acknowledge me as its brother. Then I’ll rename it Yaoji. What’s the problem?”

The Two Sages of the West: “…”

Many years later…

Yang Jian: “Uncle, please, let my mother go!”

Watching through the Haotian Mirror as Yang Jian carried a mountain on his back to shield his mother from the sun, Haotian’s heart softened at last.

“Guards, turn up the heat!”

Yang Jian: “???”

Then the nine suns, made from Dijun’s feathers, were chopped to pieces…

Faced with his furious nephew charging toward him with an axe, Haotian remained completely unruffled.

“Why are you in such a hurry? Guards, bring them back to life!”
