[Transmigration] [Fantasy] [Cultivation] [No Harem] [BG] A Tear-Choked Cultivation Tale in Another World
A modern-day wage slave plans to work, save up for a down payment, and return home. But fate’s gears hurl him into a world of peace and harmony.
“Late one night, as my landlord was hounding me for rent, a sudden light flashed before my eyes!”
That day, the steamed-bun shop owner lifted the lid of the steamer and sighed. “Go on, eat. They just came out.”
I swallowed the meat I hadn’t touched in days since I transmigrated. Hot tears mixed with the juices and caught in my throat.
That steaming kindness was the first tenderness this other world had given me.
I coughed up blood and laughed through my tears:
Half a moldy bun. That was the food that kept me alive day after day.
She felt my pulse and chuckled. “Fellow Daoist, your wounds are even more bitter than my life.”
She suddenly asked me, “Why did you swallow that meat bun back then?”
I rubbed my little finger. “It was the first taste I had in this other world... that felt like home.”
It turned out that even kindness in this world was a poison-laced filling.
“Kill one, save a hundred ghosts. Just right!”
Words and deeds are never-ending; a hundred voices will eventually become one.
Su Yanwu: “In this other world, even with countless divine abilities at my disposal, nothing compares to the precious joy of joining hands with a true friend and walking together with carefree delight. This is my true home, and the starting point of my path to immortality.”
I really like the characters in this book. I just read it casually and the story is quite interesting. I didn't like the half-blind guy at first, but he disappeared, so sad. (Although I didn't say Ga No Ga, the feeling will come up. Let me first say that he is gone 🍉) Everyone Su meets is so warm, except for the villains of course. I really like Wan Zhen and Aunt Zheng. Aunt Zheng feels like my mother hahahaha. I feel that the heroine's presence is not very strong yet, so I will watch it first. Of course, the main story is also very interesting. I am curious about what this waterside pavilion is. I am looking forward to it. The author will update it soon.
