Daoist Master Qing Yunzi's dantian was crippled. Unwilling to hand over the Sect Leader's Token, he left the mountain to wander the world. To make a living, he took in Hao Xingze, a rich second-generation heir, as his disciple. Whenever they hunted ghosts, he sent his apprentice into the fray. Hao Xingze studied without seeking to understand much, naively believing his master could lead him to the pinnacle of the Dao. Little did he know that Qing Yunzi would soon leave to continue wandering. After a turn of events upended Hao Xingze's life, he set out in confusion on his own rugged path to seek truth and the Dao.
