The Strange, the Strange Doctor

The story begins in a dark storage room.

Fang Xuan, an ordinary sophomore, accidentally finds himself in an uncanny world. As he searches for a way home, he gradually uncovers the truth about this place.

“I will climb the long steps to godhood, one step at a time, until I reach the summit and become the final bulwark against the Outer Gods.”

Is the one who walks this dark land a saint who drives out evil, or a demon who spreads calamity? What is the scheme of the Old Ones? Heretics, Deep Ones, werewolves, plague doctors, ascetics, the Fountain of Youth, tombstone carvers… This is an uncanny world, and a hymn to the strange doctor.
