I Entered the Game to Save the World, and Heaven’s Will Demands It of Me

[Game System + cultivation + some ensemble-cast elements + pocket dimension + jumping between worlds + master of playing it safe + secret identities + no romance]

Li Su, an office worker, accidentally died and found herself dead inside a game she had just downloaded. Then, by another accident, she came back to life, only to end up working like a beast of burden for the Heavenly Dao.

Everything in the full-dive game felt so real that Li Su began to wonder whether it was actually a game.

The NPCs here had lives of their own and distinct personalities. The longer Li Su stayed, the more she doubted herself, until she could no longer tell reality from the game.

But if they were just monsters from a game, demons from myths, and ghosts from horror novels, why were they all appearing in the real world?

Everyone who knew Li Su thought she was the undisputed queen of playing it safe. The phrase she said most often was: “Only those who can play it safer than anyone else can rise above the rest!”

But if you say Li Su is high-profile, that’s fair too. In the real world, where spiritual qi has returned, every one of her secret identities is either the god of chuuni antics or the god of showing off.

Game world: I’m only at the first stage of Qi Refining. If I don’t play it safe, who will?

Real world: I’m a Qi Refiner! What’s wrong with being a little high-profile?
