Great Xia Immortal Academy

Five years ago, Zhang Yang accidentally stepped into an ancient teleportation array.

In a single day, he entered the cultivation world, was lucky enough to join a sect, and soared to the peak of Qi Refining.

He returned to the city and met the love of his life, Liu Ruyan.

They married, had a daughter, and spent five ordinary, happy years together.

But he knew that mortals had short lifespans.

Only by breaking through to a higher realm could he keep his wife and daughter safe for the rest of their lives.

On the day he left, his daughter clung to his leg, crying and begging him not to go.

With red eyes, Liu Ruyan said just one thing:

"Our daughter and I will wait for you until she's eighteen."

Zhang Yang turned and stepped into the teleportation array.

He wasn't going to become an immortal, but to return one day

and give them a lifetime of peace and safety, and glory for generations to come!

In this life, he would sweep through the heavens.

The day his daughter came of age would be the day he returned in glory!
