Taking one look at the plot, they saw Satoru Gojo getting sealed, Megumi Fushiguro turning evil, Nanako and Mimiko locked in a cage, and Maki and Mai being crushed by their family. Wei Yue slammed the script down. “This rotten plot? If I don’t change it, I won’t be a Wei.” What corrupt higher-ups in the Jujutsu Society? What thousand-year scheme by Kenjaku? What Sukuna lurking in the wings? They could all get out of the way. The ones they had to save were the characters who were supposed to be crushed by the plot. Anyone who stood in their way would die.
