Building a Nuggets Dynasty with Jokic

[Single heroine, defender, helps Westbrook win the first championship of his career]

Jokic smirks around a straw in his soda: “Who says a Chinese point guard can’t play in the NBA? I’m putting this guy, Gao Shaobao, on the team no matter what.”

“Either let me sign Westbrook, or starting tomorrow, I’ll take a hundred threes every game.”

When the “court magician” Jokic sets down his soda and draws two astonishing routes on the tactics board, one points to 35-year-old “defective product” Westbrook, abandoned by the entire league, while the other pierces all the way to the 56th pick in the second round, locking onto the 1.9-meter Chinese point guard Gao Shaobao.

Jokic stakes his championship ring on the front office’s desk. “Either let Russell be reborn with a chip on his shoulder, or watch me, the fat guy, retire tomorrow.”
