Siheyuan: My Neighbors Are Beasts

A strong female lead + a golden finger + family and neighborhood drama + a male lead

Hu Xiufang was just a poor farm girl from a village near the capital. Then, one day, a letter arrived from the city, and in the blink of an eye she was adopted as the biological granddaughter of her grandaunt, who lived in a courtyard house at No. 95 Nanluoguxiang in the capital. Along with taking over her grandaunt's husband's job, she was also responsible for supporting the two elderly relatives until their deaths.

As soon as Hu Xiufang moved into the No. 95 courtyard, she realized that this little compound was full of troublemakers: the greedy Yan Bugui and his wife; Yi Zhonghai, who constantly used moral pressure to get his way; Liu Haizhong, who loved to throw his weight around as one of the courtyard's administrators; the calculating Jia family in-laws; the foul-mouthed Xu Damao; He Yuzhu, a complete sucker; and Deaf Granny, revered as the courtyard's “old ancestor”...

Good grief, this was the courtyard full of scheming birds!

Hu Xiufang suddenly remembered. She had never watched the TV series, but she'd seen plenty of video recaps. They used to make her so mad her teeth hurt. Now that she thought about living in the same courtyard with all these beasts, she couldn't help getting excited.

They're just beasts. A little discipline should sort them out.
