Wind Sweeps Over the Dust

This is a story about four trees and one flower: an elm, a locust tree, a poplar, a pomegranate tree, and a Chinese rose. Though plants and trees have their own nature, when they grow in barren soil and endure days of bitter wind and rain, they can only fall from their branches too soon and turn to mud.
