A Love for Qingge

[Cool, gentle campus beauty × carefree, aloof young master]

“I don’t date while I’m still in school.” Gu Hengyue always used that line to turn down the girls who kept throwing themselves at him.

Until one day, his best friend and underling discovered that Gu Hengyue had not only played the hero and rescued a beauty, but had also caught her in his arms. Afterward, he even dropped his icy attitude, used his life-saving deed to ask her out for a meal as thanks, and added her as a friend. What more was there to say?

Shen Qingge had had a crush on Gu Hengyue for three years, but her lack of confidence kept her from approaching him.

It wasn’t until he used his favor as her rescuer to draw closer, encouraging her to come near, that she cautiously tested the waters and claimed him for herself.

“Smoking is bad for your health.”

Gu Hengyue raised an eyebrow at Shen Qingge’s disapproving expression. A carefree smile tugged at his lips as he turned the cigarette around and put it straight into her mouth.

Shen Qingge froze, not expecting him to pull something like that. She instinctively bit down on what was in her mouth, only to discover it tasted cool and refreshing, like mint candy.

“Now I can smoke, right, Classmate Shen?” Gu Hengyue looked at her with a hint of amusement in his eyes. The small mole at the corner of his mouth looked especially sexy under the lights, adding to his languid, carefree air.

Only then did Shen Qingge realize what had happened. Her face flushed with embarrassment.

Why did they make this candy look so much like a cigarette?

Was she being a little too controlling?

Gu Hengyue, inwardly: I’m happy to let my future wife boss me around.
