Those Love Letters from Our Youth

[Two male leads + mutual unrequited love + school life + tragic ending]

Song Sheng vs. Fu Xun

Song Sheng fell in love at first sight with Fu Xun when he transferred to their school. All he dared to do was secretly admire him, afraid that the person he liked would think he was weird. After graduating from high school, Song Sheng learned from a teacher that Fu Xun had died. Later, he found out that Fu Xun had always liked him too. One night, he dreamed he had returned to high school, to the time when Fu Xun had just transferred. This time, they confessed their feelings to each other. After graduation, they began a long-distance relationship. Just as Song Sheng thought he would stay happy forever, a sudden toll of the bell shattered his dream. At last, Song Sheng understood the line: “The songs have faded, the old friends are gone; a decade of joy is hard to find again.”
