[Feel-Good Read + Apocalypse + Power Progression + Devouring] In his previous life, Zhang Shengli couldn't afford the mutant vaccine, so he could only rely on his childhood friend, Sheng Xia, to protect him.
Unfortunately, she died after an adverse reaction to the vaccine caused her immune system to collapse and left her infected.
After being reborn, Zhang Shengli became one of the last volunteers for the mutant vaccine and awakened a devouring ability...
Pepper spray? Devour it! He gains the ability to produce poison gas.
Someone else's power? Devour it! He takes their ability for himself.
Get electrocuted? Devour it! He transforms into a Pokémon just like Pikachu.
What, there's an ability that grants immunity to abilities? Devour it!
