God of Drama? That's Not Me!

[Core worldbuilding]

The story begins with the Netherworld’s collapse, caused by a war among the gods, creating an apocalypse overrun by monsters. The collapse of the natural order throws yin and yang out of balance. The dead, unable to reincarnate, and monsters from other realms flood into the living world, possessing living beings and mutating them into all kinds of monsters. This creates a unique environment for surviving the apocalypse.

[Protagonist and main storyline]

The protagonist, Lu Yun, has two unusual traits. First, in his previous life he was an actor, making his body a “living stage” that can host the lingering souls of historical figures. Famous figures such as Guan Yu reside in his mind as audience members. Second, guided by the will of the Creator God, he bears the mission of restoring order to the Netherworld. By awakening through his bonds with the lingering souls who reside within him, he gradually unlocks special abilities and embarks on a quest to save the world under the Creator God’s secret guidance.
