The Wizard Academy: The Gods Call Her Mother

Life is about overcoming trials: of the heart, of others, and of yourself. Once you overcome this trial, you are reborn.

“Nana, don’t worry. Your mother will always be right behind you. Do whatever you want.” Shi Yuan

“My Jiani is brave, kind, and knows how to learn from his mistakes. He’s Mommy’s most beloved baby.” Shi Yuan

“Miya Xing, it’s okay. Everyone makes mistakes, even the wise. Don’t lose heart. Mommy believes in you, little star.” Shi Yuan

“Lan Bao, so what if you’re timid? Mommy has things she’s afraid of, too. And my little Bao is so kind and brave. It’s okay to be a little timid.” Shi Yuan

“Agnes, your achievements weren’t bestowed on you by your family. You earned them through your own efforts. Your family didn’t give you glory; you brought them unparalleled honor.” Shi Yuan

1. An original female protagonist, with no romantic pairing.

2. I’ve changed a lot of the original story. There are some canon plot points, but not many, so read with that in mind.

3. I mainly wanted to fulfill the dream I had back then. I just don’t think their lives should have been so difficult. They should have lived surrounded by love and happiness, instead of being battered by fate. I don’t think a strong female lead has to suffer tragically. Happiness and being a strong female lead aren’t incompatible. After all, people who live surrounded by love understand how to love others better, don’t they?
