A Century-Old Family: Survival from a Hundred Battles

Gu Zhiyue has lived in a water town since she was a child, but was forced to leave her hometown because of a flood. During his wandering days, he accidentally learned a Soviet-style pastry craft. As the Anti-Japanese War continued, he participated in a series of important battles such as the Changsha Defense War, and continued to grow in the test of blood and fire. After finally hoping for victory in the Anti-Japanese War, the domestic situation changed again, and Gu Zhiyue devoted herself to the three-year liberation war. After the founding of New China, he thought he could live a stable life, but when the Korean War broke out, Gu Zhiyue rushed to the battlefield again without hesitation. In the ice and snow of North Korea, he fought side by side with his comrades, resisting the enemy's crazy attack. At the end of the war, families separated from their wives and children have a longing for reunion in their hearts. During the long search, Gu Zhiyue has always believed that one day he will be able to reunite with his family, and his story has become a microcosm of that magnificent era.
