Sent Away for a Political Marriage, I Rose to Power. What Do You Regret Now?

A modern-day female soldier transmigrates into the body of a princess sent to marry for peace. The moment she arrives, a maid grabs her by the throat. After barely escaping with her life, she makes it to the imperial palace. The emperor doesn't even bother to welcome her. Instead, he discusses with the chancellor whether she should be brought into the palace or sent to his residence.

Tang Ying kicks open the door and storms inside in a fury, slapping the indecisive emperor across the face.

Emperor Zong covers his cheek and says, “How dare you hit me?”

“Why shouldn't I?” Tang Ying replies, utterly unapologetic.
