Han Yu transmigrates to the Sui Dynasty. To prevent the Great Sui from falling after just two generations, he urges Crown Prince Yang Zhao to rebel against his father, Yang Guang.
“Your Highness, you must not make the same mistake as the former crown prince, Yang Yong!”
“If you don’t listen to me, the Great Sui will fall!”
“The aristocratic clans are far too greedy. I’m willing to help Your Highness cleanse the realm and shatter the gate lords’ monopoly!”
“I have a plan to destroy the Turks and put an end to the steppe wolves’ ambitions once and for all!”
“Li Jing, Qin Qiong, Cheng Yaojin, you’re all capable men. Why not join the Crown Prince’s service?”
Rebels are entrenched at Wagangzhai, Douzigang, and Changbai Mountain, and the realm is on the brink of chaos?
“Your Highness, don’t panic. Those rebels are all our men!”
Subdue the Turks in the north, conquer Goguryeo in the east, reclaim the Western Regions in the west, and march south to the sea. The Great Sui’s achievements will be unmatched for millennia!
The glorious Great Sui must not fall after just two generations!
It's well written and thoughtful, and it's thousands of times better than those obscene time-travel novels that change things out of thin air.
Good reading, recommended, Sui Dynasty. There are few good books.
