This is a fanfiction based on the Harry Potter series, written by J.K. Rowling.
“My heart beats on and on, but I don’t know: is this love, or a curse?”
Ariana Shafiq was born into one of the 28 Sacred Families with memories of her previous life, yet she became a Hufflepuff misfit in a Slytherin family.
She first met Tom when they were eleven.
On September 1, 1938, the day school began, Tom Riddle clutched his frayed sleeve on the train, his gray eyes like moonlight steeped in poison. When he realized Ariana treated him differently from everyone else, he began testing her limits and probing for her secrets like a snake. And so their fates began to unfold.
She shielded him from another person’s curse, yet her hair stood on end when she heard him speak Parseltongue; she became engaged to her childhood sweetheart, Junde’an Rorchi, yet during Potions Class she kept catching the bitter scent of dragon’s blood from Tom’s sleeve.
When the imprint of the Goblet blazed across the flagstones of Hogwarts, Tom’s fingertips brushed the back of her neck. “You look at me the same way you look at the Vanishing Cabinet in Borgin and Burkes. It’s as if you’ve known from the very beginning what kind of person I’d become.”
The story is told in first person and has multiple endings. Come pick your favorite!
The heroine has a touch of Mary Sue and is a little bit of an everyone-loves-her type. This story includes GGAD content.
“Entanglements between pure-blood interests and sincere feelings can lead to different endings.”
The main love triangle: childhood sweetheart and fiancé Junde’an Rorchi vs. the Dark Lord who appeared out of nowhere, Tom Riddle.
I’m not a very good writer, and this is my first book, so please be kind.
Apart from anything else, I didn't see the shining point of the heroine. Ordinary people who are weak to a certain extent will want to work hard to become stronger. The character of the heroine is so difficult to express that they don't even think about working hard. Nowadays, no one likes to read spoiled wife literature. I clicked on the book review and saw that you only have one comment. Otherwise, I wouldn't want to give you these 5 stars.
Big cheers for the author! Although I felt a little dizzy when I first read it, but as I read it, I found that my writing style has improved! Come on! 💕💕💕
It's very interesting, the plot is very rich,
