Butterfly and Whale

Young master Gu Shaochuan, the crown prince of the capital, had a childhood sweetheart he treasured above all else.

They had never been apart for more than three days since they were ten. He gave her 999 roses on her birthday, bought her favorite strawberry cake whenever she was down, and at the wild age of eighteen promised they would marry after graduating from college.

But at twenty-two, Gu Shaochuan’s compassion got the better of him, and he began to feel sorry for a poor campus beauty.

“Jingtang, you’re a rich heiress. You have everything, but Ari only has me. Please, I’m begging you, show mercy and let me go.”

Song Jingtang didn’t hesitate. She blocked him everywhere, sold the home they had bought together, and bought a plane ticket to the airport.

She showed mercy and let them go.
