My Ordinary Girlfriend

When actor Sha Kelu met lawyer Li Jiaxue, she was already a senior associate at a top boutique law firm on East Chang’an Avenue, with a bright future ahead. Sha Kelu himself was still a struggling drifter in Beijing, a little-known actor who had been in the industry for several years.

News that a celebrity would be filming at Hancheng Law Firm spread through the office. Wherever the handsome Sha Kelu went, the firm’s lovely lawyers welcomed him warmly. Everyone except the cold, sharp-tongued Li Jiaxue, who turned him away at every turn. Sha Kelu couldn’t help remarking that even the refrigerator at Hancheng Law Firm was friendlier than Li Jiaxue.

Neither Sha Kelu nor Li Jiaxue ever imagined, however, that the hit drama Department Zero would intertwine their fates. Sha Kelu could never have guessed that his ordinary girlfriend, Li Jiaxue, would thrive in showbiz and become something of a big sister to half the industry. Even Li Jiaxue often wonders how it all happened.
