[Ensemble Cast + Contemporary Suspense]
The only daughter of a tai chi school, a lonely bounty hunter, and a rich young heir with a puppy-like charm meet in a tropical country at the southern end of the mainland while investigating the mysteries surrounding the disappearances and deaths of people close to them. There, they make a circle of friends. Local legend tells of the evil spirit Selaoba. One murder after another seems to be solved, but never completely. Whenever the protagonists think they have caught the mastermind, they discover that the case is far from over...
Chen Lingru is the only daughter of a tai chi school. Cute and outspoken, she refuses to back down. Raised surrounded by love, she's a little unaware of how harsh the world can be.
Yan Sheng is a cool and aloof bounty hunter, somewhat calculating, who can't bring himself to accept other people's feelings for him.
Cai Yuan is a rich young heir who is warm and friendly to everyone.
It's still a crime-solving story with a group of protagonists, but it's a little different from my previous work, Six Victims: A Supernatural Crime Record. The protagonists in this story aren't quite so clever, and they feel their way through each case. Perhaps I wanted to try adding some comedy, so I wanted the protagonists to be a little clumsy. That's just my personal preference.
