This is more of an ensemble story, so there isn’t much of a plot introduction. The goal is just what the title says: regrets are meant to be overcome! Here are a few things to note. It uses the same worldbuilding as the previous book, Neon Province.
[Primarily Prince of Tennis, with a little Bungou Stray Dogs and Detective Conan + the protagonist’s golden finger is focused on everyday life + two male leads + sweet romance, no angst + original protagonist + fan-paired couples based on the original works + the protagonist has fewer scenes + ensemble cast + Rikkai wins the national title three years in a row + the police academy group survives but joins the Black Organization + Oda and Dazai’s relationship is more friendship than romance]
Sometimes the author gets influenced by other novels on Fanqie and ships some rarepairs, such as QP and Mouri Juzaburo, and Camus and Yukimura Seiichi. This story will probably do the same. Since they aren’t the main characters, they won’t get much attention, so feel free to skip those chapters if that’s not your thing.
(Friendship leaning toward romance: more than friends, not quite lovers. They haven’t confessed for various reasons. Dazai is a coward, and Oda is very slow on the uptake.)
To avoid disrupting the reading experience, I’ll put my personal settings in the first chapter. They may change later as inspiration strikes, so the first chapter will be revised from time to time.
The author has several accounts. This time, the protagonists are OCs who appeared before, but the previous novel about them included too many elements and spread itself too thin. No one read it, so I ended it abruptly.
There are two protagonists and two storylines: one combines Detective Conan and Bungou Stray Dogs, and the other is Prince of Tennis.
The seme is Zhongyuan Fengjian, and the uke is Mouri Yage. Some storylines may lean heavily toward everyone doting on the protagonist, but please don’t ship the protagonist romantically with the others. Platonic ships are fine.
I don’t mind off-topic comments, so feel free to talk about other works. It’d be even better if you could bring the author into the conversation.
If I have chapters saved up, I’ll update on a schedule. If not, updates will depend on inspiration.
