Only With You

The summer after the college entrance exams, Wang Sheng happened to follow Chen Muxue, a senior at his school and the English department's belle, on Yinfu. He thought that would be the end of their connection.

But at a club interview during his first year, he recognized her at once. She was interviewing him, and he fell in love at first sight.

As they talked and tested the waters, and took part in club activities together, the young couple gradually grew closer.

At last, outside the Chu City courthouse, they sat side by side on a bench and confessed their feelings to each other.

"Senior, I like you."

"Junior, that confession wasn't formal enough. Next time, bring me a bouquet and confess again. Then I'll say yes, okay?"

"Okay."

Their love was like a beam of light, shining into each other's lives.

But their happiness didn't last. After an argument, circumstances drove them apart, though they had thought they would love each other forever.

"Let's break up, Junior. I don't love you anymore."

"Do we really have to break up, Chen Muxue?" That was the first time he had called her by her name.

He tried to make her stay, but in the end, she still left.

They met again at the graduate student registration desk at Nanda University.

He was a first-year graduate student in Nanda's finance department; she was a second-year graduate student in its English department.

Two years had passed. He was still her junior, and she was still his senior.

Once again, he followed in her footsteps.

"Junior, how about you let me pursue you this time?" Chen Muxue turned to the determined young man and said, sounding a little forceful.

"No, Chen Muxue. I should be the one to win you back."

"Okay."
