After My Sister Was Bullied, I Knelt at the Military Compound Gates with a First-Class Merit Medal

My sister fell into severe depression after her classmates spread sexual rumors about her.

I wanted justice for her.

But the other student's parents brazenly beat me up, claiming that bastards like my sister and me did not deserve to live.

I chose to call the police, but they said I was wasting police resources.

Even the principal pressured me to withdraw my sister from school.

With nowhere else to turn, I took out the three first-class medals of merit left behind by my parents and older brother.

I knelt at the entrance to the military district.

I wanted to ask the old general who had placed them in my hands: “Do the people really remember my parents and brother?”

“If they do, why are the children of martyrs being called bastards? Why are we being treated so cruelly?”
