At last, one day eight hundred years ago, the two sides engage in a deadly battle.

In that battle,

The World Government suffers massive losses. More than half of its elite fighters are killed or wounded, and it comes close to collapse.

Yabai, too, falls into a deep slumber after exhausting his strength.

He sleeps for eight hundred years.

Until one day, eight hundred years later.

After getting drunk, Whitebeard goes on a rampage and smashes an unremarkable little island with a single punch.

That blow awakens Yabai, who has been asleep for eight hundred years.
