I Met You by Chance, and Fell for You in Secret

A simple story about ordinary people’s lives. No harem, no angst-for-the-sake-of-a-payoff.

“Hey, what did you say? Speak up, I can’t hear you!”

“What? Sanitary pads? Are you kidding me? I’m a delivery guy, I don’t deliver those!”

The moment Chen Yu said it, he realized something was wrong.

All around him, people were staring.

They looked surprised, astonished, amused, and even scornful!

How could he say something like that in public?

His face burning with embarrassment, Chen Yu grabbed the bagged food, kept talking on the phone, and hurried out.

He found a secluded corner.

After a war of words with the girl on the other end, he still lost the argument.

Head lowered, he walked into the department store.

A little over forty minutes earlier, Chen Yu had received a delivery order from an upscale residential complex.

He had just picked up the food from the restaurant.

Then the girl called and told him she’d gotten her period.

She asked him to pick up a pack of sanitary pads while he was at it.
