Jiang Muyu received an order to join an investigative team. On his first day, the meeting room held not only his current superior, Lin Yue, but also his former partner, Yu Qian, and their mutual friend.
He planned to just wait things out until the team disbanded and he could return to his old unit. Who knew they’d have to live together too? Then he kept getting injured and sent to the hospital. He thought he’d forgotten his ex, but realized he still cared and chose to get back together. But once they’re together again, can they really keep the peace?
Jiang Muyu seems awfully unlucky. He’s either getting hurt or attacked. Hey, are you coming after me?!
This story focuses on the plot, with a comparatively smaller romance element (though there is some, haha).
