[The male lead steals the heroine from the second male lead, who gets his comeuppance chasing after her; both leads are romantically inexperienced]
[Cool-headed, career-focused heroine versus the crown prince of the capital, who is mildly face-blind and determined to steal someone's girl] (The male lead can recognize the heroine's face.)
Gu Shuang has been abroad for four years. On the very first day she returns, she sees her fiance with his arm around his first love's waist. Everyone eggs them on as they embrace and kiss in front of her, then tell her, "It's just a game. Don't be so uptight."
Fu Sidu, the crown prince of the capital, is known to everyone as arrogant, brooding, cunning, and deep in schemes. His aunt told him to flirt more with the person he likes, so the first time they meet, with a whole roomful of people around, he leans close and softly calls her "Big Sis~," setting off on his campaign to steal her away.
Gu Shuang thinks they won't have much to do with each other, but who knew he'd barge into her world? First he signs a contract, then moves into her home, and finally sweeps her straight into his bed. First he calls her Miss Gu, then Little Shuangshuang, and the third time it's straight to "baby." By the time she realizes what's happening, she's walked right into the tiger's den.
Later, her scumbag ex comes crawling back, dumps his first love, and knocks on her door, consumed with longing. "Shuangshuang, I was wrong. Turn around and look at me."
He doesn't expect the capital's crown prince to open the door, shirt hanging open, his neck covered in casually displayed red kiss marks. He speaks in a smug, sugary tone.
"Young Master Lu, looking for my wife? At this hour? My wife can't get out of bed. During the day, she can't get out of bed either."

He stayed by her side for five years, waiting for his chance and making his moves one step at a time. He was so consumed with jealousy toward Lu Ran that it drove him nearly mad. After five years, he had finally found his opportunity. He was willing to take ninety-nine steps, asking only that she turn around and see him.
A story of Shuangshuang and A Du saving each other!
