Natlan at dusk, five hundred years ago.
Before a blazing altar, the Pyro Archon Mavuika and the heroes of the six tribes made a pact that would span time: a plan of salvation stretching across five hundred years. Only by placing their hopes in the future could they overturn the fate that awaited them.
So Mavuika stepped alone into a rift in time, traveling to Natlan five hundred years in the future to become its sole “prophet” and agent.
But there was someone else who chose to go with her:
The legendary warrior from the Children of Echoes, hailed alongside her as one of Natlan’s “twin stars,” Vilcar.
With flame-red hair and eyes that burned like fire, he carried the greatsword he had yet to finish and strode toward the time portal, grinning.
“Hey, Mavuika. Saving Natlan is way too cool for you to hog all the glory!”
Mavuika looked back, firelight illuminating her equally fiery face. She lifted her chin, her voice as challenging as ever, though a faint warmth, one only he could recognize, hid in her eyes.
“Don’t worry, Vilcar.”
“This time, you still won’t beat me.”
“You...!”
Vilcar glared, but before he could say another word, she turned away. Her voice was soft, yet it passed clearly through the leaping flames and reached his ears.
“...But thank you.”
“For coming with me.”
(The protagonist is a native of Teyvat and knows nothing about the story.)
The plot is good, please go to the author. Is there a female protagonist?
I think this book is very good in terms of characterization and emotional description, but it seems a bit routine. I am mainly looking forward to the plot of Nata and the story line with Mavica.
It's pretty good, come on author
Does the author still update?
