New to the workplace, Shen Nian is introverted and used to keeping a low profile. But an ordinary commute sends her on a journey from which there is no return. A dilapidated ancient train, riddled with cracks, roars toward her and tears her from reality into a strange, unknown realm. The carriage is filled with a suffocating chill, yet every neatly arranged seat is empty. Before long, a “passenger” suddenly appears, dressed in a black robe, expressionless, with hollow eyes. With each subtle flicker, his silhouette seems to twist in the cracks between time and space... And this is only the beginning of the journey.
On this train bound for a dark realm of endless nightmares, Shen Nian discovers a series of chilling rules: whenever the bell rings, she must follow the instructions and choose the designated carriage; she must not speak to the other “passengers” without permission; and she must never exceed the permitted time at a station... Yet behind every rule lurks a horrifying price. As one life-or-death decision follows another, can Shen Nian find clues in these bizarre mysteries? At the end of the journey, will she find her way home, or an abyss without end?
