The sequel to Apocalypse Brings Out the Ruthless. If you’re unfamiliar with the story, you can read the first book, or you may find this one a little confusing.
Book One: Apocalypse Brings Out the Ruthless
It tells the story of the outbreak of the apocalypse. The protagonist meets Sun Jialing, Li Ye, and others, then fights his way into a grain depot.
Later, he is drawn into a conflict and goes to WH, where he sees the army of the Number One Zombie King. The experience broadens his horizons, and an old police officer’s words make him see sense. He sheds the burden of the warlords, actively rescues survivors, and expands his group.
Then, on military adviser Li Ye’s advice, he fights his first positional battle in a small town, moving beyond relying on traps. After that come the bloody battle at Position 11 and the desperate defense of Position 0. He takes part in the major battle between the military and the Number One Zombie King. The military begins to take him seriously, and his group becomes more professional and turns into a main fighting force.
After retreating from Pai Town, the military is scattered. The protagonist takes up the banner and joins the hunt for a Zombie King, provoking the Zero Zombie King.
Finally, the base defense fails, and they embark on a Long March across the province. They fight bloody battles all along the way, and the survivors they protect grow closer as a group.
Book Two: Apocalypse Army.
After the Long March across the province, the First Hubei Division escapes the Zero Zombie King’s area of attack. It trains its troops while waging guerrilla warfare behind enemy lines, bringing the conflict into a strategic stalemate.
Ancient City, the province’s second-largest economic center, becomes the First Hubei Division’s first major rear base after the Long March.
Bianzhong County: the throat of Hanxiang and the gateway to Ancient City.
Dabie Mountain Forest Park: a guerrilla zone.
The Long March will also pass through Longxia County, Shuidao County, Greenwood County, and others. Together, they will form a cluster of cities around the edge of the Zero Zombie King’s territory, building a defensive line and establishing a strategic standoff.
The cities battle for control, while both sides scheme against each other on the front lines.
In the rear, the second-largest economic city mobilizes and gradually resumes production, slowly changing the balance of the war.

Ok, I am also an old bookworm. This is the first novel that I have been following for more than ten chapters. The author must not disappoint us and give us a perfect ending. The writing is really good. Whether it is the first book or the current one, they are very close to the facts and very logical and structured.

OK, it is also different from the popular collection of apocalyptic novels, with a macroscopic battlefield. If I really want to read the apocalypse, I highly recommend this book.
