(The only one of its kind anywhere online, a premise you definitely haven't seen before!)
(Twists + apocalypse + urban + alternate history)
June 28, 2009.
Professor Stephen William Hawking held an unusual party at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University, in England.
The party's scheduled end time came and went, but not a single guest showed up.
The next day, after the party was over, Hawking revealed its address, exact time, and coordinates to the world, and sent out invitations.
People couldn't help but wonder.
Inviting people only after the party is over? Was Hawking joking?
But it didn't take long for some people to figure it out.
This unusual party wasn't meant for people of the present. It was meant for time travelers from the future.
If anyone in the future could travel through time, they would surely see the invitation and come to the party a day early.
But sadly, not a single person showed up.
Professor Hawking therefore reached a pessimistic conclusion: humanity would probably be extinct before it ever invented time travel.
I finished reading it in one go, and I thought it was very interesting. The type of book this book talks about is quite difficult to write, because it involves time travel back and forth, and you have to foreshadow the story in the early part, and then give a good explanation in the later part. However, this book is very well written, and there is nothing poisonous about it. There is one thing. Pig's Foot travels to other timelines to complete tasks, but it takes a long time in this timeline. There are also some unnecessary plots, which makes the pace a bit slow and not enjoyable to watch. Maybe that's why the rating isn't very high. I hope the author will write more I have read a similar time travel article before, but unfortunately it was unfinished. I hope the author will stick to it.
It's very interesting, and the storyline is very attractive. From my perspective, you may have been confused before. You don't know why you can't talk about the country, or multiple people traveling through time. The Doctor should have his own plan. Logically speaking, it is impossible for the Doomsday Doctor to invent time and space travel. However, Professor Ning reminded the protagonist in the early stage and injected the protagonist with a tube of medicine that does not belong to the era. So I blindly guessed that the Doctor may actually be a person from another era. Let me talk about the pitfalls I can find now. 1. What is the real cause of the bloody corpses in the apocalypse? Why did the Monsanto Genetics Company of the Dark Beacon Empire create the X-virus? What is the reason? 2. Professor Ning, who was rescued by the Taoist priest, provided a medicine that did not belong to the era. This means whether someone planned all this from the beginning. Was it the doctor? 3. Why did the Doctor conceal the time travel plan? 4. The combat uniform that the protagonist encountered in 1948 did not belong to this era and was suspected to be a time traveler. 5. As the current heroine, Mo Xia's background is unknown. I feel that Mo Xia should have a special identity. 6. Is the bloody corpse hiding in the darkness observing the outpost in the first phase of the Xishan Base the fifth generation? Why was the Xishan Base not destroyed in the first phase? There are too many pitfalls in just a hundred chapters, and I will suffer from indigestion. I hope the author will speed up the update and fill in the pitfalls.
Objectively speaking, this book's score of 6 is low, it would be almost the same if I gave it a 7.5. The first 50 chapters are already the peak of the book, and the following chapters have already begun to scratch the surface, especially the last 50 chapters, which have deviated from the original main line, especially many sudden Internet memes, which affect the reading experience. The theme of the story itself is novel. Although it borrows many elements from other authors, such as "The Traveler" of Xiaoqi Riding School, it is finally integrated well. Although the writing style is a bit immature and the logic is not rigorous and has big loopholes, it is already a good start for a new author. Writing is a lonely journey, and you will always get no attention at the beginning. The fish jumps in the sea now, and the flowers bloom in the sky on the other side. Come on, author!
Overall it's pretty good. It's just that not many people read new books, and when you read them, you always feel empty if you have comments from book friends. Also, you, the author, are very good at leaning to the left! 🙂 Hope to see the ending. Come on 👍
It's very beautiful. I don't know why no one sees it.
The previous story is quite compact, and the plot is relatively novel for an apocalyptic theme. It is suitable for changing the story, but it is too short for the time being.
Wait for a wave of new readers [get it]
This book is very strong and has great potential
Very good. There are very few time travel novels of this type, and most of them are not very good. The author also writes well and dares to think and write. While you are playing with time, time is also playing with you. The timeline is messy, but it is very reasonable.
It's a rare good book with a grand concept, fascinating plot, and interlocking links. I couldn't stop reading it. Unfortunately, it collapsed halfway. I closed the book with a long sigh, and the alpaca in my heart was rushing. Can't I just stick to it?
