The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom: A Lone Army Against the Tide

The storyline is okay, with strong coherence and plenty of room for characterization. The electoral system simply does not work under the average education level! Many countries have switched back and forth between constitutional monarchy and parliamentary systems in history!

Yes, the historical figures are clear, and the mountains and rivers geography are basically correct. It is difficult to explain why Shi Dakai defeated Sichuan and Guizhou when he was young. [Like] The strategy of Sichuan swept the world. Should he go north to Hanzhong to occupy Xi'an and start the attack from the north, or should he send troops to connect Nanjing from the two lakes and attack from south to north?

It's super good-looking. The protagonist has three views, has correct values and thoughts, and doesn't have any messy gold fingers. He doesn't engage in religion, overthrows the dynasty, doesn't breed horses, and serves the people. There aren't many emotional scenes, but the story is told clearly, and there's also some historical introduction, which is a rare treasure.

A different kind of Taiping Army. Alone in a line, far away from the center of the Taiping Army. As it gradually develops and recruits talents, it always wants to implement egalitarian democracy, which is not very realistic. You said it yourself, everything should be based on reality, remember it! ! ! Support the author and continue to follow up with more support! !

There are very few books about the Taiping Rebellion, but after pursuing it, I found that it was really worth it! Not bragging, not slanderous, well written, with a particularly good angle! Perhaps, the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, Chen Yucheng, Li Xiucheng, and Shi Dakai were all unhappy in the past!

In line with history, I am very disgusted when it comes to the Great Ping Heavenly Kingdom. Their failure is inevitable. Many of the reforms proposed by the author were indeed too advanced for that era and could not be idealized. Idealization would easily cause the characters to lose their individuality, and in the end, it would easily turn into a running account of many novels later on. Keep up the good work, I'm very optimistic about this book!

This book is very suitable to my taste. Please read it and work hard to speed up the update.

There are not many Taiping Rebellion themes, and there are even fewer that can be seen. The book is generally good, not a bad one. The author has a strong understanding of the geography of Sichuan, Guizhou and Hunan. He has also searched for a lot of information and actively interacts with readers. Although there are flaws, the flaws are not hidden. It is highly recommended.

"The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom: The Awakening Lion in the East" is the first historical time-travel novel set in the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom by Tomato Novels. The following are reviews of the book: - Plot setting: The novel sets the story in 1852, the early days of the Chinese nation's century of humiliation. The soul of a modern fisherman time travels into the body of a soldier of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. The protagonist did not follow the trend, but established the Academy of Sciences to fight against Hong Xiuquan's God-worshiping religious ideas, and also equipped the Western Army with advanced weapons such as breech-loaded rifled guns. This kind of plot is full of imagination and combines modern elements with the history of the Taiping Rebellion. It has a strong sense of freshness and appeal and can satisfy the needs of readers who like historical novels. - Character creation: As a time traveler, the protagonist has modern thinking, which is in sharp contrast to the characters from the Taiping Rebellion period, and his image is more prominent. Other characters in the book, such as Hong Xiuquan, Zeng Guofan, Li Hongzhang, etc., Are also presented to varying degrees based on the historical background. Through the interaction between the protagonist and them, the characters are made more three-dimensional. However, the overall shaping of the supporting characters is not rich enough compared to the protagonist, and they serve more to promote the plot of the protagonist. - Writing style: The writing style is relaxed and humorous. The author tells the story in a more humorous way, making the reading process more relaxed and enjoyable. For example, it describes the protagonist "pressing Hong Tianwang's theory of heavenly father to the ground and rubbing it." The language is simple and straightforward, which is in line with the characteristics of online novels and suitable for mass readers. - Historical science popularization: The novel popularizes science about the situation in the late Qing Dynasty and related characters to a certain extent, allowing readers to learn some historical knowledge about the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom period while reading and entertaining, which increases the knowledge and interest of the novel. @WildCrow [flying kiss][flying kiss]

Congratulations, you have managed to finish from beginning to end despite the strict review. Modern history is inherently a sensitive area, and it is rare to find a complete work that is not perfunctory. The full text is also logical, has historical research, and does not use cheats. It is a rare and good historical article on Tomato.
