A simple, old-fashioned necklace bought secondhand brought Mo Chuqing to a dynasty she had never even heard of.
A stranger in this place, Mo Chuqing could neither speak the local dialect nor show any household registration papers. With no other choice, she pretended to be a mute refugee and settled in Muxi Village with the other displaced people.
And so Mo Chuqing became a villager of Muxi Village in Yueqing County, obtained household registration in this ancient world, and began a life as a craftswoman, making a living from the mountains and fishing in nearby waters.
(A slice-of-life story, simple and tranquil, with no romance and an ensemble cast.)
