The protagonist is half an Emanator of Abundance (?), but unlike their fellow followers, they aren't fanatical about their beliefs and won't go around preaching the Abundance.

The commander's character is not written out, but he seems to be a relatively strong destiny walker. The introduction can be changed or the protagonist can show more of the strength that a commander should have.
