A good novel, the framework is similar to that of Infinite Horror, but the characterization of the characters is not as extreme as Infinite Horror. For example, the captain is less passionate and more calm than Zheng Zha, and the wise man character is similar to Adam's "mortal limit" with a little more humanity.
