Recklessly Claiming Her

My husband's beloved wanted to see a beast show, and specifically asked me to be the beast tamer.

Afterward, I was exhausted, but my husband said the beasts' roars had frightened his beloved.

He ordered his men to throw me into the beast cage, and specifically instructed them not to open it, no matter what sounds they heard.

Eyes wide with terror, I struggled and begged him to spare me.

He only gave me a cold smile. My heart-rending screams were swallowed along with me into the beasts' bellies.

But when he learned that the beasts had eaten me, he went mad.
