Zhu Yu picks up an old book at a street stall.
When she gets home, all the ink in it suddenly vanishes.
Only three characters, Tao He Ming, stand alone on the first page, surrounded by blank paper.
It has become a book with no words.
Driven by curiosity,
Zhu Yu tries every trick she can think of, but nothing makes the writing reappear.
Then, by a series of unexpected twists,
she cooks herself a bowl of spicy turkey noodles.
They're so spicy that tears stream down her face.
Who could have guessed that one of her tears would accidentally fall onto the book,
bringing it back to life?
Lines of inked characters leap onto the page.
Zhu Yu is instantly stunned.
She has no idea the old book holds a hidden secret.
That's right, her soul has entered the book.
Every time she opens her eyes, she has no idea what she has become inside it.
It might be a person, or it might be an object.
No hints, no System, no golden finger.
A triple-zero product: she's on her own.
From the start, everything goes catastrophically wrong. She doesn't know what she did, or whether she somehow deserved this punishment.
Luckily, Zhu Yu always comforts herself: Since I'm here, I might as well make the best of it. I can treat each new identity as a different NPC experience card and enjoy it like an immersive murder-mystery game.
If it ever becomes unbearable, she can always die for a worthy cause and restart from the beginning.
[Zhu Yu × Tao Heming]
[A modern-day workaholic who gets dragged into everything × a gentle, persistent man from ancient times]
Good-looking, good-looking, good-looking
It feels pretty good. Is it divided into many chapters? I look forward to the author's next chapter.
