Spring Hidden in the Depths of Winter

[Rebellious Boy x Cool, Reserved Girl] Spring comes at the end of winter.

A story of redemption. Entirely fictional, so please don't overthink it.

For all seventeen years of Lin Fuyin's life, her memories had been filled with her parents' arguments. She had never understood why two people who didn't love each other had chosen to be together, only to torment one another.

One day, another argument broke out in her bedroom. Lin Fuyin tried to ignore the tightness in her chest as she ran out of the house from the living room.

As she passed an alley, the sounds of a fight coming from inside stopped her in her tracks. Before she could decide whether to leave, everything around her had already fallen quiet.

Suddenly, footsteps rang out, drawing closer and closer. A huge shadow fell in front of Lin Fuyin, blocking the sunlight.

The instant Lin Fuyin looked up, the redness at the corners of her eyes met the other's dark gaze.
